There are so many powders and supplements on the market that I think we have forgotten a bit about the humble fruit and vegge. When this thought came to me I decided to muck around with a little wellness shot to take each morning to help me get enough fruit and veggie in my day, because let's be real, some days are better than others when it comes to what I eat. I love playing around with different combos and I found this to be a winner, plus it is full of the goodness. Serves: 2 Free from: dairy, refined sugar INGREDIENTS 1 apple, quartered 1 green kiwi fruit, quartered 1/2 cucumber, roughly chopped Handful of fresh spinach leaves 1 lemon, juice only 1-2cm piece of ginger (depends on how strong you want it) 3-4tbs water 1. Put all the ingredients into a blender and turn it on. 2. Pour into a glass and enjoy half the quantity for a morning shot of wellness. Put the other half in the fridge for the following day.
