So you may or may not have noticed that my presence on my website and blog have been sporadic. I wrote a post a few weeks back called Nurture & Restore where I stated that I was needing to take a little break because blog writing had become a little forced. Which for me is not good enough, so I would rather not write anything. Well I am beyond excited to let you know why this probably happened, my husband and I are expecting our first baby! I am 13 weeks pregnant and bub and I are doing really well. Being pregnant has changed me in many ways, not only being queasy and exhausted for 12 weeks made me want to live on the couch but my whole world was turned inside out. Everything I know and love kinda went out the window....I wanted to just sleep and eat bread which isn't me at all. I am usually an energetic, hardly ever get sick type of person, but pregnancy has really turned this on its head for me and now that I look back it has taught me so much about myself and life. It's okay to take a break and sit on the couch all day or sleep in past 7am. " I used my first trimester to do what my body and mind needed and that was a whole lotta rest and sleep. I love my business, it is everything to me and I have put my all into it, but during this time it has taken a back seat. I did what had to be done and that was putting my clients first and blog writing and networking last. Which is exactly why I have been so quiet on the website front.
If you are or have been pregnant you will know exactly what I'm talking about and I just want you to know that it is okay to ask for help or finish work and collapse on the couch for a nanna nap. I couldn't have gotten through my first trimester without my amazing husband and I am so thankful for everything he has done and continues to do for me. " I am now starting to feel more like myself and I can't wait to get back into blog writing, reading, meditating and exercising, yes even exercising took a back seat for a while there. And I have realised that is okay too! As a mumma-to-be my world is changing, I have this little beautiful soul growing inside of me that I already am so in love with. I train so many mum's and I have learnt and will continue to learn from them, but being in this position myself is giving me first hand experience on how I can best serve my mum's and mum-to-be clients. My business is growing and changing and I think this experience for me will do just that, but I am so excited for the future of Radiant Personal Training and the direction it will head in. I hope you can stay with me on this ride. If you would like to follow my pregnancy story please let me know in the comments below, I write for you, so would be more than happy to share my story with how I am managing exercising, spirituality and eating during this amazing time in my life. And if not, also please let me know. My lifestyle, fitness, exercise and wellness is my passion and will continue to come your way no matter what. Share with me your first trimester story, how did you manage? I would love to hear from you as always. Be happy & healthy,
