I'm so excited to introduce to you this month's radiant + inspiring woman, Nicole Knox-Gray from A Spectacular Life. Like a lot of my blogging friends, I met Nicole through Bright-Eyed & Blog-Hearted and boy am I blessed to call her a friend. This woman is so down to earth and kind you must check out her work. Nicole is a social media strategist, coach and mama to a beautiful little girl. So without further ado, here is Nicole... + Why do you do what you do? What motivated or inspired you? I guess I just had a feeling that I was destined to do more with my life. I have always loved helping people and connecting, I truly enjoy meeting new people. I love stories that people have. I started blogging as a creative outlet and then it morphed into life and social media coaching. + What quote do you live by at the moment? I always have heaps on the go, but at the moment I am loving Paulo Coelho’s one: “Don’t give in to your fears. If you do, you won’t be able to listen to your heart” It’s from The Alchemist, which is one of my most favourite books. + If you could share one piece of advice for a newbie to the wellness world, what would you tell them? Just do what you can do! Don’t feel like to you need to do everything that everyone else is doing. Take baby steps to incorporate what you can into your life, and by doing this you are more likely to change your lifestyle. It can be so overwhelming but realise that you are on your own journey and what works for someone else might not necessarily work for you, so just take your time with it all. Be kind to yourself. + What would you tell your 14 year old self? Oh boy! I’d actually tell her to just be herself. She doesn’t have to be like everyone else, or have the same jeans, shoes or hairstyle as everybody else. I’d really just give her a big hug and say that it was all going to be okay and that she was stronger than she ever thought. I’d really just say be unique. Be original because it is so much more fun! + What is your favourite meal to cook? Can you share the recipe with us? I don’t really have a recipe I just kind of wing it. I actually love to cook a baked risotto because I get to put in heaps of veggies and I also really love a good soup. I enjoy my own almond milk too when I get the time. I really don’t get in the kitchen as much as I would like really. + It can be tough starting up a business/blog, what has been your biggest lesson learnt so far on this journey? The biggest lesson I’ve learnt is that self belief is a huge factor. It took me some time to really believe that my message was worth sharing and I am now of the utmost belief that there is enough room in this world for us all. It’s also sometimes confronting to share things publicly, but I’ve really found that those posts are the ones that people connect with the most so they need to be shared! + What is your favourite way to move your body? I like gentle exercise, I always have. I enjoy doing weights at the gym, swimming, walking and yoga. I do interval training if I’m going to run, I’d rather do a beach stairs session rather than run 8km, although I’ve set myself the challenge to do a 10km fun run (although I’m not really sure where the ‘fun’ part comes from) later in the year so I might have to incorporate some more running into my schedule. + How would you like to be remembered? Wow!! I’d like to be remembered as someone who made those she loved know that they were loved everyday, ensured that people believed that they were brilliant within themselves and was kind. Oh and as someone who wasn’t afraid to dream big. ........................................ Meet Nicole

Great interview ladies!! Self belief is a big one for most people I think and it's a tough one. Surrounding yourself with awesome women always helps which I think we are lucky we have in spades!! Thanks for sharing ;) x

Inspiring Interview Kylie and Nicole -- loved it! I especially loved how Nicole mentioned that self-belief has been such a big lesson for her. It has for me to, so I really loved that!

I'm so happy to hear you loved the interview Chloe!! :) Self-belief is huge isn't it?! I'm in the same place, when you have your own business and/or blog you really need to have that and once you have it, things all fall into place.xxx
