She and her partner are also putting the finishing touches on a sustainable home that they have built together and were featured in The Age newspaper over the weekend for it....can this woman get any more amazing?! Well yes she can, Kate has just released a new eBook titled I am a TRAILBLAZER, love it! It is a no fluff, honest to heart 6 week guide to becoming your most confident and connected self. You can get your hands on a copy here. Kate has been so kind to offer you, my beautiful readers, a chance to win your own copy. Check out the details below... Kate and I connected through Bright Eyed & Blog Hearted an online blogging course that rocked my world. I also found out that her partner and my husband know each other as they both grew up in the same town. Such a small world!! Let's jump straight into Kate's wonderful words... + How did you get to where you are today? Through a lot of unravelling, leaping into the unknown, plenty of 'what the hell was I thinking' moments. But really, I'm here today for a lot of reasons. Why am I online? Because I found a passion through my experiences and realised I have a story to tell and lessons to share. And boy, I freakin' love it! + What motivates you each and every day? My lust for life. I am a big believer in following your 'Why' - the reason behind everything you do. Meaning matters and no matter how small or big it is, it's what really drives happiness. Health, connection and innovation give me deep meaning - and I've worked hard at turning this into a profitable passion. My blog and soon to be released Happiness Hub is my dream vessel. + What quote do you live by at the moment? My all-time favourite is 'feel the fear and do it anyway!'. + What has been your biggest struggle on your journey? A few things, it always changes. Growing up, it was bullying. During university, it was dealing with anxiety and adjusting to a huge change in my environment which really didn't suit my poor hearing. Now, it's about juggling a lifestyle I want with a bank account to support it. But, all struggles are stemmed from the mind. I may have seen them as struggles at the time, but not I just see them as lessons. And I'm very grateful for them. + What food can you not live without? Avocado. Salmon. Cacao. Potato + Do you have a daily routine? If so, what is it? Not really, it changes every day. At the moment, I get up and go for a run or gym (I'm training for 10km Melbourne Marathon in October), have breakfast then a shower before getting into work. But other days I might head out and work in a café, or take the morning off. As long as I have a list of 3-5 things I need to do that day, I can have a productive day without a set routine. + What would you tell your 14 year old self? To seriously quit the sugar! And just enjoy the innocence and beauty whilst it lasts. + How do you want to be remembered? As inspirational. A game changer. A person who invoked positive change into many people's lives. Someone who lead a horde of powerful, confident, connected women. Thank you so much for joining me Kate, it was a real pleasure to have you join me on my virtual couch and learn more about the wonderful woman that you are!! ....................................... Meet Kate
