Did you know that your skin is the largest organ in your body? Yep it sure is, and you need to take good care of it. Whatever you put on your skin is directly absorbed into your blood stream. A scary thought! Mid last year, I made the decision to change over to natural, and organic where possible, beauty products. Every single one of them! I had enough of putting all sorts of chemicals on my face and body. Words I couldn't pronounce, let alone even know what they are. And hearing about animal testing, took it to a whole new level for this animal lover...they put all the make up on monkey's?! WTF??!! How horrible is that? I didn't want to waste products, so as I used up my brand name beauty items, I replaced them with natural one's instead. Doing this can be quite daunting because you wonder if natural ingredients can do the same as chemical based. Will you get the colour you want? Or the long eye lashes? Or the smooth skin? And the answer is...YES!! Here are my favourite natural beauty products I am using at the moment: + BB CREAM Lavera Beauty Balm provides me with such a natural looking coverage that I no longer wear foundation (only for special occasions). Plus it is organic! + BRONZER Lavera Sun Glow Bronzer is just as good, if not better, than the commercial bronzer's you get at your local chemist. It looks so natural and gives me that lovely sunkissed look. + MASCARA 100% Pure Black Tea Mascara. Now this is the product I was most interested in seeing how well it would actually work. I have light brown eye lashes that don't really like to curl on their own. So when I tried this product out, it was amazing. I use my eyelash curler first and then pop this on and I can bat my lashes as good as the next girl. + CLEANSER Kelapa Organics Cream Cleanser is a lovely, light weight cleanser. I use it every morning and it leaves my skin feeling clean and fresh. + SHAMPOO, CONDITIONER & BODY MOISTURISER I use Sukin for all of these beauty products and the best thing about this brand is it is affordable and you can get it from a lot of chemists. It is a great place to start for your everyday beauty items. I buy my beauty products through Nourished Life, but I'm sure you can buy the above products direct through the businesses if you wanted to. ** Please note I am not affiliated with any of these products or websites, I just want to share with you items that I love so you can easily start to bring natural beauty into your life. Let me know below what some of your favourite natural beauty products. Or are you a little nervous to make the switch? It is never to late to make the switch! Be happy & healthy?

Lovely post my dear! As my background us soapmaking and bath/body products I like to take notice of what is in commercial products. I have never been big on moisturising or facial care but now I'm in my 30's I wanted to take care of my face a little more. So I made my own all natural eye serum which is the most amazing thing ever and I simply love and look forward to using it. I also love straight up Rosehip oil on my face at night (especially with the hot weather we've been having). I am so pleased you have given some suggestions on products like mascara as I really want to make a shift into using natural makeup. Awesome work lovely ☺

Thank you hun! I love hearing this, thank you for your lovely suggestions too :-) Make up can be a hard one to make the transition to but I love all the products I use, they are the same if not better than the commercial products. Enjoy! xx
