I apologise in advance for how late this post is. I have no reason for it really and I am not going to give you an excuse. It is an item on my to-do list that for some reason or another kept pushing back. Maybe because this month I was struggling to figure out what my top four things are. Blocks happen to the best of us! This month I have a mixed bag of things from books to a dance party PLUS a giveaway of one of the items....woohoo!! Without further ado here is my list of things / items / experiences / products + books that I loved and enjoyed during July 2014...
SACRED DANCE PARTY WITH SUSANA FRIONI...with my new found amazing friends, Lucy, Jasmine and Bec we all bought tickets to a Sacred Dance Party. None of us had any idea what to expect but we all were a little nervous. Susana Frioni is a raw, honest and sensual coach + blogger and I highly recommend you check out her website if you haven't already. It is all about Love.Sex.Desire. When you think of a dance party you probably think alcohol, drugs and sleazy guys, but this was definitely none of that. This was meditating, journaling, feeling the music and vibration through your body, dancing (blind folds included) and afterwards drinking herbal tea and eating bliss balls. My type of dance party! We were all high on life and that was all we needed. Gratitude was flowing and new friendships formed! What can I say about this experience?! It totally blew my mind. Dancing blind folded was scary and we did this for a good 30 minutes or so. At first we must have all been apprehensive as Susana said during the first song, the way you dance blind folded is how you approach challenges in your life. After that I let loose, what did I have to lose? It was invigorating, challenging, scary, amazing and liberating all at the same time. It showed me the power of music and how fun it can be to lose your inhibitions and just let go. Energy was high in the room and afterwards everyone was pumped ready to take on the world. If you ever get a chance to attend one of Susana's Sacred Dance Parties I highly recommend it, it is unlike anything you have ever done.  ............................................  THE PROMISE OF A PENCIL BY ADAM BRAUN...is an inspiring book that shows you that you can do anything if you have the passion and will to succeed. PLAY BIGGER MASTERCLASS & MENTORING ONLINE PROGRAM WITH CONNIE CHAPMAN... I started this online course in July. It is a six week program to help you start to live life from your heart space and get out of your head. Exactly what I need! I am still learning and growing on my spiritual journey and boy am I having fun and learning heaps about myself along the way. But I tend to listen to my head a lot more than listening to my heart, which I am sure most of you do the same. It is how we have been brought up, so it is no one's fault. But when you start listening to your heart, everything makes sense. I had an experience a couple of weeks back where I was struggling with focus, nothing I did would allow me to get any work done. I had a growing to-do list and emails popping into my inbox but I just found myself Googling and fluffing around on Facebook. It was frustrating needless to say and something I was trying to push through for two days. By Wednesday, I had had enough so I stopped what I was doing, put my hands on my heart, took a few deep breaths and said to myself "Kylie, what do you need right now?" and my heart answered with "You need to disconnect." Wow!! It worked...so I took the next four hours off. I cooked, I watched some telly, I read a book and I had a nap. I then walked back into my office and I got work done. I thought to myself, why have I not done this sooner?! This is just one experience of mine since doing this course; it is a life changer and something I will be bringing into my every day and passing onto my clients during our coaching sessions. ............................................
ENERGY HEALING WITH AMY FROM TRUE SHINING SELF...I have been following Amy and her blog for a while now and was drawn to having an online healing session with her so I booked it in and went for it. Wow, Amy was spot on with a lot of things that she got from my energies and angels; it shocked me! A past life of mine came up as well as different chakras I needed to work on and why. I was sick for two weeks afterwards which is completely normal after having a healing done. Stagnate energies were flowing again and my body was healing so naturally a side effect is sickness. I have since felt so much more connected and aware, it is beautiful. Amy is very gifted and if a energy healing is something you are interested in I highly recommend this wonderful woman.
