Can you believe that Winter has arrived?! Where did May go? Well here are the four things that I loved in May, this month was a hard one to narrow down but I am happy with the final list and I hope you are too. I would love to hear from you if you have tried or will try any of the below four things, leave a comment in the box below my darling. ................................. DYING TO BE ME is an amazing book I read in May by Anita Moorjani. Here is a blurb on this book from Amazon: "In this truly inspirational memoir, Anita Moorjani relates how, after fighting cancer for almost four years, her body-overwhelmed by the malignant cells spreading throughout her system-began shutting down. As her organs failed, she entered into an extraordinary near-death experience where she realized her inherent worth... and the actual cause of her disease. Upon regaining consciousness, Anita found that her condition had improved so rapidly that she was able to be released from the hospital within weeks... without a trace of cancer in her body!" It is a spiritual book but at the same time has some amazing life lessons and things to get you thinking. I couldn't put this book down and demolished it within a few days. A book has not had an effect on me like this did, I was nodding and talking to myself out loud when a paragraph or sentence resonated with me....powerful and life changing is all I can say about this book. I read it on my iPad but I will be buying a hard copy so I can highlight and write in it that is how good it is. Give it a try! ................................. LA ZUPPA SOUP! One thing I love about winter is soup and this brand is a perfect size as well as being all natural ingredients and gluten free. There are heaps of favours to choose from but I have found Coles offers the biggest variety of flavours. Try it today for lunch or dinner with a piece of wholegrain crusty bread. ................................. ESSENCE OF LIVING TV is an online yoga, Pilates and meditation online subscription. I just love doing yoga but the area I live in just doesn't have any yoga studios...disappointing! So when I saw one of my favourite bloggers, Tara Bliss, talk about Essence of Living I checked it out and saw that they offer the online videos. I now get out my yoga mat, light a candle and do my practice in the comfort of my own home. You can get 3 free videos to try it out before you buy and then it is only $19 per month for unlimited access. The classes are also categorised so it is super easy to choose a class that I want to do each day. Check them out here. ................................. STEPPING OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE was such a fantastic experience...as always! Going to Sydney in mid May for a workshop on my own was scary for me but was so amazingly worth it. I met such lovely like minded women who I can't wait to see again (catch up this Friday with two of them, YAY!). If you missed my blog post on this very topic the other week, catch up here. Sometimes the things that seem the scariest are actually the best thing for you to do, so don't let fear get in the way unless it is completely warranted. Step outside of your comfort zone and that is when you will start to really live your life. ................................. What a month May was! I hope you enjoyed reading the things that I loved as much as I love sharing it with you. Let me know what you have tried or will now try from the above, leave your comments below! Let's share xx
P.S Just so you know, I am not affiliated in any way with any of the above products or services, these are just things that I truly loved and wanted to share with you. Be happy & healthy,
