Smoothie bowls are the best! They are colourful, healthy and filling. Plus you can get creative and turn it into a piece of art.
I cam across this smoothie bowl idea a few months ago and it is my go to when I feel like one for breakfast or lunch. I was a bit uncertain about how peanut butter would go with acai, but it works.
I have made little tweaks to the recipe to make it my own.
Makes: 1 bowl
1 cup frozen mixed berries
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup water
1tbs acai powder, heaped
1tbs cacao powder, heaped
1tbs smooth peanut butter
1tbs chia seeds
Whatever you want to pop on top
1. Put all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings
