OMG!! These are my all time favourite healthy snack. They satisfy my sweet tooth and addiction to chocolate. If you haven't tried them, you're missing out! They are easy, healthy plus sugar free, dairy free and gluten free. WIN!
Makes: 12 (approx.)
1 cup dates
1 cup flaked almonds (or any other nuts you like)
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
1/3 cup organic coconut oil
1tbs chia seeds
1tbs chocolate protein powder (optional)
Desiccated coconut to roll the balls in
1. Put all ingredients except for the coconut into a food processor and mix until the nuts and dates are in small pieces.
2. Roll the mixture into balls and then coat them in the coconut.
3. Put into an air tight container and pop them into the fridge to set. Then enjoy once cold!
