Smoothies are my go to breakfast when I don't know what to have or don't have the time to prepare anything else. You chuck everything into your blender, and there you have it, a nutritious tasty brekkie.
The thing to make sure you have in your smoothies is healthy fats and protein to help keep you fuller for longer. And this one has a good dose of antioxidants with the berries.
Free from: dairy, refined sugar
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries
1 cup almond milk (or any plant based milk)
1/2 cup water
1tbs chia seeds
1tbs vanilla protein powder (I love Tropeka)
2tbs rolled oats
1 1/2tbs cacao powder
1. Put all ingredients into a blender, then blend and serve.
