One of the most common excuses for not exercising is 'I have no time' and what I say to this is, you will never find the time you need to make the time. It is a time for you and it is important to have me time!
A great strategy to do this and I do this myself, is to schedule in your exercise time into your diary or online calendar. Treat it as an appointment and like other appointments you shouldn't miss it. If your exercise time is marked in your diary you know that you are busy for that 30-60min period you will then need to work around it when other things come up.
We all have special occasions and events that we need to attend that come up, so when this happens mark these events in your diary and just reschedule your workout to another time. For example, if you exercise after work maybe swap it for that day to a morning workout instead. That way you won't miss out! Once it is in your diary you will get into the habit of exercising at those times and it will just become part of your day.
Try this out with your new diary for 2014....schedule in your workouts and your other appointments and you will be ready to go for the new year with no excuse!
